Administrative Official and Woman Killed, Man Injured in Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Taungdwingyi and Ywarngan Townships

     The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 February 2026 at 2:00 PM, while U San Win (52 years old), a 100-household elder and Htan Taw Gyi Village in Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region, was at his house, two so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by motorcycle, and opened on him. As a result, U San Win died on the spot, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 4:05 PM, on the same day, while U San Oo (aka) Phoe Thar (39 years old) and his wife, Daw Cho Mar Htway (aka) Mee Nge (38 years old), both residents of Pway Na Phar Village in Ywarngan Township of Shan State, were at their house, four so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by two motorcycles, and opened on them. As a result, Daw Cho Mar Htway (aka) Mee Nge died on the spot, while U San Oo (aka) Phoe Thar sustained gunshot wounds. He was transported to Sao San Tun Hospital in Taunggyi Town for medical treatment, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of administrative officials and innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
