In Certain Townships, Innocent Civilians Killed and Injured in Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 13 May 2026 at 9:00 AM, while U Tin Myo Naing (aka) Kyauk Khal (43 years old), a resident of Khyo Pin Thar Gyi Village in Thegon Township of Bago Region, was at his house, seven so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “Decoy”. As a result, U Tin Myo Naing (aka) Kyauk Khal died on the spot, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 4:10 PM, on the same day, while U San Lwin Htoo (56 years old) and his wife, Daw Swe Eain Thi (aka) Daw San Htoo (47 years old), both residents of Zay Tan Ward in Ywarngan Township of Shan State, were at their house, four so-called PDF terrorists arriving by two motorcycles and opened fire on them. As a result, the couple died on the spot, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 7:00 PM, on the same day, while U Win Zaw (67 years old), a resident of Thone Taing Village in Kyarinseikkyi Township of Kayin State, was at his home-based-shop, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him, before fled the scene. As a result, U Win Zaw sustained gunshot wounds. He is currently receiving medical treatment at a local military clinic, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
