Innocent Civilian Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Oakpho Township of Bago Region

    Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians as well as killings.

    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 23 February 2026 at 10:00 AM, while U Kyaw Oo (45 years old), a resident of Sein Pat Lal Village in Oakpho Township of Bago Region, was at his house, six armed so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted him, it is reported.

   Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
