Innocent Civilians Injured in Drone Bomb Attack on Ward by Terrorists

     Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 7 January 2025 at 11:10 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group conducted an attack by dropping bombs on No.(6) Ward in Shwebo Township of Sagaing Region. The explosions caused within the ward. As a result, Daw Aye Aye Khine (51 years old), a resident of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
