Innocent Civilians Killed and Injured in Drone Bomb Attacks on Villages by Terrorists

     Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 19 January 2025 at 9:00 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist faction conducted an attack by dropping bombs on Myin Sa Taw Village and Chike Village in Pakokku Township of Magway Region. The bombs exploded within the villages, resulting in the death of Ma Zar Zar Phyo (16 years old) and a resident of Myin Sa Taw Village, who died on the spot. Additionally, four residents of Myin Sa Taw Village U Sein Shwe (60 years old), U Khine Soe (45 years old), Daw San Myint (66 years old) and Daw Khin Thida (40 years old), sustained shrapnel injuries. All injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment in the village. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in Chike Village, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
