Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 23 January 2025 at 1:30 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Ngwe Twin Village in Ayartaw Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Win Aung (60 years old), a resident of the village, was heading to a farm west of his village. Upon reaching the area near the farm, he triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, causing it to explode. As a result, U Win Aung sustained shrapnel injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at a clinic in the village, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 6:45 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that Daw Thi Thi (38 years old), a resident of Ngwe Twin Village in Ayartaw Township, was heading to a betel plantation yard near her village. Upon reaching the area near the plantation yard, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction detonated, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
