The Myanmar National Human Rights Commission inspects School For Children with Disabilities (YANGON)

   On August 9, 2024, the inspection team, led by U Kyaw Soe and Dr. Than Myint, Members of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC), inspected School For Children with Disabilities in Mayangone Township, Yangon Region, in accordance with Sections 43 and 44 of the Commission Law.

   The inspection team inspects whether the disable children who are trained in the school can get the fundamental rights including healthcare services, food supply, provision of purified drinking water, status of classrooms and trainings for development in physical, intellectual and character of children with disabilities and preparation to continue their education.

   MNHRC will inform its findings and recommendations to the relevant department in accordance with the MNHRC law for necessary actions.
