Two Innocent Civilians Killed and Other One Injured in Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Natmauk Township of Magway Region

    The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist groups known as the so-called PDFs. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing, and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 9 April 2026 at 6:15 AM, Ko Aye Zaw (26 years old), Ko Aung Htay Lwin (26 years old) and Mg Wai Yan Phyo (17 years old), all residents of Padauk Nghut Village in Natmauk Township of Magway Region, were travelling in a two-wheeled tractor from Gway Chaung Village to their village along the Natmauk-Wat Chote-Gway Kone Road. When the tractor reached an area near a public rest house close to the Gway Chaung Village fork, seven so-called PDF terrorists forced it to stop and opened fire on them. As a result, Ko Aye Zaw and Ko Aung Htay Lwin died on the spot, while Mg Wai Yan Phyo sustained gunshot wounds. The terrorists then took an amplifier from the tractor and three mobile phones, it is reported.
    According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
