People welcome frontline Tatmadaw members

Frontline Tatmadaw members who fought bravely against armed terrorists and PDFs in Kyaukme and Nawnghkio townships in Shan State (North) and Wundwin and Mahlaing townships in Mandalay Region and achieved successive victories, were warmly welcomed on their victorious return. A ceremony to welcome them took place at Taikkyi station in Yangon Region yesterday, and Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Pyae Sone Lin, departmental officials, students, artistes and locals participated in the event.

Tatmadaw members were honoured for restoring security and stability for the residents in different regions and states. The commander and attendees presented the victorious returning troops with sprigs of Eugenia and presented cash prizes to them. A band, singing and dancing were also added to the welcome.
