1. The Ministry of Health and Sports has issued Order 97/2020 dated on 26-8-2020 to announce that the whole Rakhine State has been put into ‘Stay–at–Home’ programme for effective control measures against the increasing confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Rakhine State.

2. The government will provide healthcare services, food supplies and the disease control measures required in Rakhine State, and that people residing in this state are to live in the respective places, and to avoid unnecessary travelling around and going outside the state.

3. People in Rakhine State are to seek approval from the respective departments and organizations for necessary travelling in case of health issues and other emergencies to other regions or states. They need to undergo medical examinations in cooperation with relevant departments and organizations at the destination place. They will also have to spend 21 days at the respective community-based facility quarantine in strictly following the orders and directives for COVID-19 control measures.

4. Action will be taken against those who fail to abide by orders and directives under the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases Law.
